Introduction of the Nan Chiau Alumni Association

Nan Chiau Alumni Association, set up in January 1990, is committed to connecting alumni and in supporting the good of our alma mater’s development. The Association was actively involved in late 1990’s, in the broader campaign to help keep the school sustainable despite dwindling enrolment issues.

After the alma mater’s 2001 relocation to Sengkang, the Association has raised funds to contribute to various student development programmes, and also organised events such as gala dinners and charity walkathons to connect with members.  

We also operate the Weekend Activities programme at Nan Chiau Primary School, which we hope will be a platform to help our juniors learn and develop talents in diverse fields.

The Association is grateful to all stakeholders and members for their support all these years. We also look forward to having new blood come on board and join us in charting the future ahead.

南侨校友会

南侨校友会于1990年1月12日正式成立。多年来也一直秉持饮水思源的爱校精神，谨记校训 “诚毅” 的谆谆教诲，克尽己任，为母校的发展，奉献力量。校友会成立之初，为学生开办补习班，90 年代末， 也关注母校面对学生人数不足而面临可能关闭的问题，努力推动及配合各方力量，保校爱校。

母校2001年迁址盛港之后，南侨校友会也筹集一笔爱校基金，在2000年至2009年，作为颁发奖助学金给在校学生、赞助才能培育计划之用，并在中小学设立“饮水思源”角落。校友会也主办各种活动如周年晚宴、校友回校日、环岛脚车行、义走和中秋晚会等，联系各届校友，促进校友情谊，关爱母校。

南侨校友会也以“爱我南侨”精神，极力配合福建会馆的各种计划，从旁辅助学校的发展，以报答母校对校友的培育之恩。校友会在小学开办一站式的周末课程，20年来从未间断。除了学术课程，也有各种才艺班，为学妹学弟们提供不同领域的学习机会。

校友会感谢会员多年来的支持， 希望争取更多年轻校友加入队伍， 一起回馈母校的教育之恩， 并续同窗情缘。
